Agreement regarding the National Employment Service

 

The General Director of  Probation Service Mr. Ilir Qafa and the  Director of the National Employment Service Mr. Genc  Kojdheli, signed a  cooperation agreement for the implementation  and involvement in employment schemes for prisoners with alternative sentences. This agreement aims to reintegrate prisoners with alternative sentences into society and prevent the recurrence of crimes.

The General Director of Probation Service Mr. Ilir Qafa, said that this initiative is even  broader and only through full reintegration, recidivism can be the target size. The aim of the Probation Service Institution is  not only the necessity  to implement the measures and judicial determinations, but above all to ensure protection through the support of people in detention. Through this agreement  we will provide support to overcome the difficulties and obstacles that have been in their premises, "said Mr.Qafa. The Probation Service has the obligation to find motivation, support of  state institutions in terms of their involvement in this initiative of the government and involvement in employment promotion schemes.

The Director of the National Employment Service Mr. Genc  Kojdheli, during his speech estimated that the agreement specifies all the level of cooperation between the two institutions. We need the Probation Service to filter their wish to follow a certain course and engage in a promoting employment program, if training permits.

Through this agreement, the General Directorate of Probation Service commits to guide all sentenced to alternative punishments on vocational training courses offered by the Regional Public Vocational Training for unemployed, registered by labor offices, and the possibility of involvement in employment promotion schemes with the aim of their social reintegration and participation in the labor market.
